First with a saved password on our servers we just sarted to get:
Using Pentium II Optimised binary.
Auto-restarting the server on crash
Updating server using Steam.
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Login has expired, use password
So I ran an update manually and got:
./steam -update cstrike /usr/local/games/hlds_ls <username> <password>
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Checking/Installing 'Linux HLDS binaries' version 1
User's ticket has expired
Re-running a few mins latter:
./steam -update cstrike /usr/local/games/hlds_ls <username> <password>
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Checking/Installing 'Linux HLDS binaries' version 1
Checking/Installing 'Linux HLDS base content' version 0
Checking/Installing 'cstrike content' version 1
HLDS installation up to date
Looks like the first is generated by the cached login settings from specifying
"Y" to save has an expirey time, not good for dedicated servers.
Second just looks like an error to me. I suppose this leads onto the question
I assume its ok to run multiple servers from 1 login account?
