Yepp, Valve is probably getting a good deal $-wise from Fileplanet. I guess it's the same as when a newspaper buys exclusive rights to a story. Can't say I like it, but that's just how things are :/ and I guess it's up to Valve to figure out how they will make the most money in the end.
