so steam is win32 software... - doesn't anybody at valve know about microsoft software? do you like bluescreens and missing errorlogs? lack of bandwidth? lack of bandwidth??? lack of bandwidth??????
buy a calculator and enter 10.000.000 cs gamer * 350 MB = 3500000000 MB so you would have needed more than 2430555 MB/s of bandwidth to allow all 10million cs gamers to get the update at the first 12 hours.... or you should have coded steam more considerate - only one of 12 gamer i know was able to copy his local cs 1.5 copy to steam - the rest of us had to download the 350 mb file... cause there was no 2nd try to restart that local copy after it crashed... also very funny is the starting of steam - it looks like it tries to connect to that steamnetwork before it shows up any message - lol? a simple message like "trying to connect to steamnetwork" would be helpfull... sorry valve - i cant believe you will release such a great game like hl2.... lets hope you forget about steam... or pls by a calculator and rent enough bandwidth... we could host a content server - but who is that stupid to host a windows server to the open world? w32.blaster rulez - microsoft suxx! and w32.blaster was coded by a newbie... greetz splaTTer > -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- > Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag > von Erik Johnson > Gesendet: Montag, 15.
