Hi, I just recent buy a Dual Xeon in wich I host some CS server, it's running stable debian, with recompiled 2.4.21 (also tested with 2.4.22). It have 10/100 Intel eth card, and the problem is that I'm getting ping fluctuations from 85 up to 105. If I test an icmp ping I got about 75-80, I have an ADSL without fastpath :( so ping is right. I have tested it from some other connections getting also fluctuations, always compared with some other CS servers using the same co-located provider, and no one of them get more than about 3ms fluctuations
