i would like to start a thread about which configurations really do work. because i have to assemble some servers during the next weeks, and would like to build a system where we can host more than 2/3 hlds based servers.
i think, it would be nice make a list of the following parts:
cpu model, motherboard, distribution, kernel (+ config options), glibc, hlds settings, which help you to run x servers once without any problem
+ anything else that comes to your mind, that could be important for hlds.
