Correct me if im wrong but I thought beta 2.6.x kernels were 2.5.x kernels?
They only ever go to even numbers when ther are official releases. ??

the kernel, and yes, they are in their pre-release candidate series now.  So
far I have seen them as being pretty stable, and I only had an issue w/ one
of the, test2 I think. ymmv of course.
