We're running a couple of our servers on 1 NIC with 2 IP's, one of them being an alias ofcourse. The 2 hlds servers run on each of the IP. Both on port 27015.
It worked great on kernel 2.2, 2.4, 2.6(and also freebsd 4.7)...
