Make sure it isnt one of you plugins/scripts that makes this. I.e AMX CSStats module(Statsme lookalike) seems to crasch the server when shield is used within 1-2 rounds When i disable csstats the crashes goes away.
Have you started up a server with shield but without any kind of addons? I think your problem is in your addons and not hl/cs itself.
