10 $US VS 10 pounds is a bit harsh against europeans, if the prices are
the same, sign me in for that, if prices are going to be that arbitrary,
I would call Valve or whoever thieves for such an action and drop it in
sight.

Either way I would agree with them, or at least, for a even more fun
thing, ALL SERVERS running gotta be payed and that payment would include
Anti-cheat updates ;) I am in favor of this one.

What IF:-
Valve continue to let the anti-cheat community down (as that is what
they are doing) and a new company notices a niche market. Developes an
Anti-Cheat server side mod and keeps it updated. CONSTANTLY. Server
Operators / Admins would have to pay for the subscription to it but it
would be a much more effective as this would be a business and the
financial income would rely on the fact that the cheat detection worked.

Would people pay for professional cheat detection?
Say 10 dollar / pounds a month?
Blimey at that amount most cheat writers will defect to cheat detection
writers.
Especially as I doubt anything will be any different with HL2. Why would
it be? If they cant handle HL why would they be bothered with HL2?

Counterstrike is a great game tbh and respect to valve for there part in
it. Its just a shame they cant be arsed to fix the cheat detection. It
tarnishes the whole experience and ruins any credibility the game has.

Sounds like some sort of communism, against cheaters I would prefer a
more tighten policy, something like good old Gestapo or some ditactorial
policy than just around something that is purely hipothetical! Wouldn't
we all ?

There are organisations out there that do prevent the amount of cheats

servers, whether people like 'blacklists' or not organisations like
www.aocab.net or www.steambans.com do assist more than what people

unless AC Software is beefed up not only by Valve but by UA aswell then
these organisation will keep getting stronger, my opinion still is that
admin presence is the best form of AC and these two organisation are at
