I have the same thing here. Running debian linux. After 1-2 days memory consumption begins to rise very fast. After one week i�ve a usage of 400MB per running hlds process. Newest thing i discovered that a child process of Hlds is beeing started if server gets full. Dunno why, but it appears in my process list.

My systems do the same thing. All of em, I have to restart daily. Gentoo or Redhad. The longer they run the more mem hlds uses. Sometimes I have to log in and restart some hlds processes partway thru the day cause they are up to 172mb+ and 400+mb of virtual ram on a system that has 1.5gb memory. Someone tell me why they use virtual mem when there is plenty of free mem available? lol Alfred ya there? :)
