No, the latest one is what breaks sprays. There is no fix for sprays as far as I know unless you delete it and start fresh with an older version an risk the security issue. 1.5 is for the most part old and unsupported. I thought we were lucky to get the patch for the DL bug so don't count one anything to help with sprays. I have no links to old either.
