You mean the "bodge" discovered by the "community" :) Come on Valve, you included the ability to rollback flakey updates and have done it before. I think most here would agree that now's the time to use this ability again until a satisfactory update is written. Steam is obstructive enough without us having to bypass it every time a "less than perfect" update is released and not rolled back when a clear flaw is present.
