Hi all,
I send you this mail because I just meeting a perfect stupid guys who is playing to hack rcon password.
I known that there was a bug on version 3.1.1.1.d (linux) regarding this question and the soltuion was to change the cvars value. I did it.
But I update the hlds server with patch 3.1.1.1e which must fixe this trouble.
I installed the new patch, I reloaded the server, I changed the rcon and the guys get again the rcon password.
Do you know how it's possible?
I have some other questions :
- How check exact version of hlds? the version command return 3.1.1.1 - How to be sure about that the new patch is correctly installed?

For the moment there is no problem because I have the complete control of the linux box and I can do everything on console port.
