[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I am admin to a few
servers, one of which is quite a skilled 18man public. We have been working
to get the reg on this server as good as possible and at the moment it is
quite good. Hardware is a 64bit opteron with 1gb ram (2.2Ghz) I believe.
We are running 64bit binarys and processor usage for this server full is
around 20% -22% peak. Which we are happy about. I have noticed that when
playing on this server I am getting around 11kb sec throughput in (In
netgraph).
A little choke at the start of the round but that's it. Still 11kb a second
is a huge amount of data considering that most servers I play on range from
3-6kb.

Should I be worried? Could this effect reg either positively or negatively?

My ISP isn't really bothered at the moment but it could become an issue if
this is the way HLDS is going throughput wise.

Also I have noticed that after a few weeks / months of running this server
the reg goes downhill and I have to re-install it (./steam)

Any ideas chaps?

Thanks

Richy
