Try starting czero and it logs to the vale dir, read ist liblist and all that from the valve dir. Gives you a cant find map error if your loading a cz map but will manually start datacore of course as it thinks its starting valve.
I did a full install and same thing. Please look into asap as thsi is a support nightmare. None of my CZ games will restart.
