i have checked out their documents, steamless CS auth thru. STEAM server (they call it WON2) with WON id. i m not sure how do they manage to do it. so that if WON server down, they claim that WON2 still able to auth. them.
somehow, there are logical question, won't VALVE just remove/disconnect all WON details from WON/WON2 by 26th as part of WON server down? if so, steam less cs project would became use less cs project coz even STEAM (WON2) server do not have the WON details.
however, some of my clients still want to ran cs1.5, especially lan shops, they claim ppl like it. if its possible to ran cs 1.5 on internet or just on LAN. if its possible, could VALVE official give us some hints about the technical and legel possiblities. i m not asking for any campagin, just want to get some officical reply. thx.

Some of my clients are asking me about a project known as "SteamLessCS" that has basically started their own WON Auth servers and are distributing a patch that those who want to continue to play 1.5 can....

Would Valve fight this? Or is it just another "mod" in their eyes?
