I know this is inappropriate for this mailing list - but hey it's not another flame thread ;) - but I need some kind soul to do me a massive favour.
I'm running a LAN party tomorrow and have been trying for over 6 hours to download the czero stuff over Steam from a 100mbit connection. Unfortunately steam's only sending me to some content server in the states (I'm UK-based) which appears to be connected by a GSM dialup (I think the guy on the end of it is stuck in a train tunnel atm!) hence I've not gotten very far (about 20 files!).
Could someone please do me a favour and give me access to a tarball of the current stock czero directory? This is just for a one-off offline server, so back away from those rootkits ;)
Alternatively, can someone tell me how to force Steam to use a different content server? The dod and cstrike came flying down at an appropriate rate...
