YA I disabled root login and am currently looking over making secure keys
for the 1 user I am assigning access to. I noticed my logs restarted today,
does most sys logs auto restart? and does it delete old files :(....

eliminate passwords and use keys??? Or other suggestions? I have to use
ssh, its how I run server. But id like to read up on some security
fixes.

Links, off the top of my head no...

But if you dissable root logins, and use iptables to allow only your
IP/range to connect to ssh, youre pretty much as safe as you can be.

make sure you use decent passwords also...
