Well if we have a scripting genius here that would like to help community, id like to see a version available for us newbs that would like to keep our servers monitored for the same thing. This idea is good anyway for when there are no known bugs.
Or a website of 'helpful' scripts/community.

All just scripting really. ps, qstat and a wrapper perl script. Monitors the servers ensuring they are available and that their cpu / memory usage doesn't spike / leak.
