There have been reports of people being able to get servers running on
Windows at least... There are bugs regarding player models and you have
to move things around and of course I doubt that there is any kind of
code for actually controlling the game or respawning, but the mechanism
is there :-)

i tried to start up a multiplayer server manually,
by typing "maxplayers 32" in the console and loading a map.
but then hl2 crashed to the desktop.

sooner or later there WILL and MUST be one or more
multiplayer mods.

pleeeease valve.. why couldnt you
have just made hl1:source mp-compatible?

Hi,
do you mean Counter-Strike Source or really Half Life 2? AFAIK there
isn't a multigaming part on hl2, or am I wrong?
