I can answer half of that.,
the post must be 27015-27020 due to the way the client finds the server, because there are no master servers to store the information, it uses a broadcast method.
example, client yells on port 27015 to the broadcast ip generally something like 192.168.0.255 "hello is a server here" the server which is listening for these broadcast requests then responds.
The client only sends out these requests on those 5 ports. As for the aliased ip, it depends what u mean by a aliased ip.
