Indeed, and I'm sure most linux users prefer using that over something like xqf or using windows instead on the client to admin servers ;). Hands up all here who use hlrcon for adminning ;).
I use console-based rcon tools for almost all my remote administration tasks.
Getting a bit off the track anyway I guess. Just surprised people seem to consider not having gui as an option to be an advantage, and not having a dedicated full time set of people trying to stop cheats getting through an advantage and the way to go too. After all, it already works well, not.
Personally, I'd rather have a good remote console implementation that allows people to make their own GUI around it. If you have enough low-level access to the system via some sort of robust rcon mechanism then you can build a GUI to work the way you want it to work. I'd rather not get stuck with what someone else thinks is a good GUI, but ends up being one that I find completely unusable.
