Yeah. I hear ya. Its something we have to do multiple times a day (restarting to fix rcon)

Our servers are suffering this problem constantly, I'm seriously tired of having to restart the CS:S or HL2DM servers every few hours. We use RedHat Enterprise 3 ES over dual Xeons.
Please fell free to ask me for more detailed info about our config.

Haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet (and there is still a bug for some lower end AMD cpu's under linux I am also looking at).

Alfred, any word on a fix for rcon "dying" so whereas you must restart your server to fix rcon?
