This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I just pulled this off the web and found a workaround for the issue. The message is still and maybe this has been posted before, if so I apologize. I had the exact error as you and others I have read about but I didn't see any solutions posted regarding this issue. After some glibc research, I found that my glibc that came with Fedora Core 3 killed the server due to failing internal sanity checks. I searched for answers for some time regarding compatibility and found that by setting the MALLOC_CHECK_ environment variable options you can keep it from killing the application when it fails a check. Try this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] hl2mp]$ export MALLOC_CHECK_=0 Then start the server as usual. You'll get a few exra errors in addition to the many normal ones, but it will run. This is kind of dirty and I will now patiently wait for full glibc-2.3.3 support! Thanks, Warren Leetnet.com ---- Harryn Mon, 15 Nov 2004 06:40:12 -0800 Hi,
