Hi Folks. Sry. to jump in here so late in the game with this question, I did look in the archives on the website breifly but did not see any mention of it....
I am running a small CS Source Linux dedicated server for a clan and being what they are they like haveing the Download and Upload turnd on. But when I do that I get the following in the server console when people join which creats slight lagg spikes when the server is getting 3/4 full on a 20 man server... L 12/08/2004 - 13:20:46: "[BBC]SteamCore<33><STEAM_0:1:5135633><TERRORIST>" killed "Roger The Shrubber<16><STEAM_0:1:408873><CT>" with "scout" *DEAD* [+Axxium-] Theory+: eerrrr ... lag L 12/08/2004 - 13:20:48: "[+Axxium-] Theory+<10><STEAM_0:1:1859188><CT>" say "eerrrr ... lag" That was on build 2218 As you can see once player [BBC]SteamCore loaded in it stopd, but during that time players experinced Lag. Unfortunatly I did not have a shell running top open at that time to see what the cpu was doing. I was jsut wondering if this is an issue that is being lookd at, or being put off for the time being? Do you guys want more info on the system specs?
