You might also want to try:
options     CPU_ATHLON_SSE_HACK

But it looks like srcds_amd also requires SSE2 which from a quick google
it doesnt but its worth trying the above just in case.

SSE2 didn't show up (it's a Barton 2500).

Since I'm not seeing SSE2 anywhere there this would seem to make sense
with some of the first issues I was having with the daemon spitting out
messages regarding illegal instructions.
