Same Problem as root, but I have this problem since the first version of the
dedicated server, not only since the last update.

I added -debug to the start:

CRASH: Mon Dec 20 20:19:21 UTC 2004
Start Line: ./srcds_amd -game cstrike +map de_dust +ip xx.xxx.x.xxx -port
27015 -autoupdate -retry -restart +maxplayers 16 -debug -steamuser xxxx
-steampass xxxx -verify_all
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
Core was generated by `./srcds_amd -game cstrike +map de_dust +ip
xx.xxx.x.xxx -port 27015 -autoupdate'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

i have similar problems.. have you tried running the servers as root for a
little while?
try running them as root to see how long they stay up,... mines will only
stay up running as root (insecure i know)
the last update really screwed shit up...
