i very highly doubt that lol

dos2unix and unix2dos just fix the file's returns. in a binary file it
would not help.

even if that did work, i cant picture that ever working. thats like
renaming a .dll to .so and running it.

Wouldn't transferring the file(s) to the Linux box after they were compiled
on the windows box then issuing a dos2unix filename command work?

Good question, wrong list. I suggest signing up to the HLCoders list and
asking there:
http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders

I don't compile on linux, so I don't have an answer, but I'm sure there
are
plenty over on the hlcoders list that do.

Subject: [hlds_linux] Compiling a plugin

I am clueless about coding. So forgive me if this sounds... newbish.

We have a guy who has writen a plugin for us. He wrote it in windows.
The question is, how do I compile it so that it will run in linux?
