Hi I already deleted and restarted the install a few times prior to mailing. After this reply, I tried again. All to no avail. How about someone just give me that file :)

Thanks Delete the InstallRecord.blob file (srcds/InstallRecord.blob) and reupdate. Maybe you also need to delete ~/.steam/ClientRegistry.blob ...
