Just pipe it to an output file. I do this on my Win32 servers. This is a file called hl2mpupdate.bat:
Yeh, I've done that a few times, but I often don't want to browse the results, I just want to get some confirmation that a) the command completed successfully (I've often had problems in the past with it bailing out, usually with an error) and b) the files were all updated.
No biggy, but a "results" message would make it easier to do this at a glance, which would be great given the number of different Steam-powered games and servers we're supporting.
