Note that the info query still does not require a challenge, but it needs to be in the new format.

You really DON'T want to enable this however, check with your tool vendor for an update.
Why not?
I am a "tool vendor" (I've written my own rcon/challenge interface in php) and I'd really quite like to know what the changes are, since this may have broken my code (not actually checked yet).
Can you provide links or more information on this?
