This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] could this be to the fact that certain NIC's have hardware processing built into them Intel, 3com etc whereas some of the thinner realtek cards use software to do the work. we found this on the shool network i used to help run that certain machines were "faster" on the network because they had intel cards in over the others that all had realtek cards.
