Sorry been a long running thread lost track. I think its now something
that you need to speak to Alfred about as is seems there is still an
issue with created by new threading model ( or glibc bug again ).

I do run freebsd 5.3 and 5.4 on those machines as I stated in the
beginning. I used the -beta linuxbeta switch... It gave me version 22 of
hlds instead of 21.
I have never had these issues before the upgrades begun in the early
summer.
