The Source engine will not display banner ads at this time (by design).

So no source games support displaying a banner?  If not, that's a real
shame ... at the very least it would quickly let ppl know that they are
downloading from a web server and so can expect the custom content to
download a lot quicker.

Alfred - will the Source engine ever support gfx/banner.gif?
