I know this sounds rather picky of me but PLEASE can people not start a new topic by replying to an existing one and then changing the subject and message text.
With the caveat that this be done only if one is actually starting a new thread, not replying to piece of an old thread (as I'm doing here). In that case, the common practice is to explicitly reference the old subject with the first new message, and trim it in future replies, as I've done here. But a new thread isn't started, because that loses the linkage in the archives to what is being replied to. _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
