I like to use SSH and screen to control my servers.

I based my start script off of the screen script from here.

When I have to use a windows machine to access my servers I like to
use the cygwin command line SSH client.
This site has a zip file with only the files necessary for running the
cygwin SSH client without having to go through the whole cygwin
installer.
