Thanks. It works now.
HLTV is much easier to handle. Maybe Valve changes the SourceTV way back
to the good old hltv style :-)

Because of the ingenious (...) design of SourceTV, you need to connect
it to the SourceTV running on the gameserver, right now you are trying
to connect your relaying SourceTV TO the gameserver, and not the
SourceTV ON the gameserver... So set a tv_port on the gameserver, and
then connect the relay proxy to that port.. But remember not to try to
record a demo on the relaying server, instant segfault.. Sigh, i hope
some day valve will realise that this design is hopeless..

Hi,
I have a little problem with SourceTV.
Following Situation:
First server runs with: ./srcds_i686 -game cstrike -port 22600
+maxplayers 12 -ip 123.123.123.45 +map de_dust2
server.cfg:
----
...
tv_enable 1
tv_maxclients 1
tv_password XXxwcqwecf3
tv_relaypassword 123
tv_debug 1
----
This server should be the normal gameserver. Then I would like to start
a second server which acts as a SourceTV server only.
Second server:
Startup: ./srcds_i686 -game cstrike -ip 123.123.123.7 -port 22600
+tv_port 22650 +tv_maxclients 1 +password 123 +tv_relay
123.123.123.45:22600 +tv_debug 1
This server should be the SourceTV server and it has no server.cfg.
The server console says:
------------------
Console initialized.
Attempted to create unknown entity type event_queue_saveload_proxy!
Game.dll loaded for "Counter-Strike: Source"
maxplayers set to 32
Network: IP 123.123.123.7, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 22600 SV /
27005 CL
Connecting to 123.123.123.45:22600 ...
The server requires that you be running Steam.
-------------
The two gameservers are _not_ on the same box.
Why does it say that I should run steam? Any ideas why this isn't
working?
Thanks in advance.
