Speaking of whack-a-mole, I have a potential fix for the crash problem
on startup. If you have this problem, can test a fix and are around
right now please email me offlist and I can set you up. Once I have a
couple more reports of this fixing the problem we can expose this as a
beta package.

And if we have any Linux kernel devs in the crowd, I'd love to chat with
ya.
