Same here:

Linux Suse 9.2
Linux xxxxxxxx 2.6.9-041221 #1 SMP Tue Dec 21 16:00:43 CET 2004 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux
P4 2.8GHz

Server drops the connection, hungs for a minute and came back without
Restart (Same map is still running)

Yep I just got it one of our servers also,
it was idle at the time.
