Okay, Clear. Now I run - and I think most of us do - a CS Source server, and I realy can't come up with a reason that you so desperately require support for an older protocol version.
Afaik you simply require the latest srcds just to be able to run the most recent map changes. Anyone with a legal copy will automatically be provided with the latest verstion. So why bother to struggle with something like holdig back a version?
