If only running 2 servers on a dual cpu setup, I'd be tempted to set
affinity on the processes to separate cpus with the taskset command (may
need to install the rpm as not sure if it comes with fedora, but it should
work fine on redhat based systems as have tried it on them myself).
Alternately might be worth turning HT off in that situation of only 2
servers. Not saying thats the problem, just something I think worth trying.
