No i don't appear to have that set, its specifically done in a startup
script which has a few generic options for the srcds install like port
and tickrate, then some mod specific things, like the start map etc
which are executed depending on what mod name is used when running the
script.

Rcon access itself isn't the problem though, i can connect to the
server with HLSW and use commands in its console, i just can't
retrieve logs at all to get steam id's and the chat to be able to
monitor everything on the server with one program, right now i'd have
to watch the actual server console for chat and ID's via SSH then
either use HLSW to admin it or connect directly to the server myself.

When i get a chance i'll try adding the -ip switch in to see if it
makes any difference though, thank you for suggesting it.

Also I've rolled back two further servers as well now, again the VAC
and log retrieval problems were fixed by doing this.I still have one
server running the latest update if anyone has any more suggestions
for me to try though.

Regards,
DI
