This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] we experience this map change bug since the updates in october and like other mentioned here before, its not depending on which kind of installation has been done
simple standart installation, with or without any mods or pugins, no difference between amd or intel plattform server and NOT only on specific maps, on all official and custom maps we are runnin' since october we experienced this bug a couple of times a day (5-8 times) and it took more than 15 seconds where the game freezed, everybody could spawn but not move, and the server changed the map, no problems for clients to spawn after map change but for about 3 weeks, the bug "changed" it takes only 5 seconds and the map is changin' and clients with less power on their setup, hanging up while spawning to the server and have to restart their game i think it has also something to do with mp_freezetime increasing this for e.g. up to 10 seconds (normally on our pubs 5 sec) and this mapchange bug shows double than before, decreasing mp_freezetime was not changin' this bug but like valve was not able to reproduce this bug i think some jerks with "special" clientsettings (i mean this lame cfg rul0rs^^) together with this mp_freezetime relation we experienced could be a clue (i know its not a pattern^^).... i hope so regards grammaton782 pfaelzer-gold.de -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
