Hi,

Yes there is a CPU-usage jump, especially on 64Bit CPU's. Ours took
20-60% on 66 tick 25 player server _before_ the 2 latest updates. On
each 2 update, the cpu-usage has lifted. First up to 70%, now 80%.
This is unaceptabble because the system is dual-cpu machine and source
does NOT support dual cpu-systems so only 1 processor is used. This is
why we cant run more than 1 server source per machine unless we want
problems. Of course everyone knows what this high usage causes.

Same with bots - last 2 updates made bots eat say too much cpu (lag
spikes occur on another server).

Apologies, it was an older Source MM version of Mani ( don't have
Mattie due to ...CPU Usage .. :) )

Wont jump to conclusions again in the future.

Am going to try again later with updated mani version to see if any

Thanks for the help

I can't confirm it. Have you tried a complete re-installation without
any changes (plugins,tickrate,custom files etc)?

No

we havent updated the DOD:S Serverr & thats running as normal , 32
player 66 tick, takes 50-70% CPU.

CSS server now takes up the rest of the CPU upto 100% , ie takes
whatevers available even when idle ...

Hey Neil,

just use the normal "reply" button. If Outlook follows standards
(*ahem*) well enough, the reply should be addressed not to the person
who wrote the mail but to the whole list.

It looks as though some of my servers using mattie's scripting plugin
are having an issue with High CPU% + the scripts not working. Perhaps
those with high CPU should see if they have this. (after removing it on
two that I tested, they returned to normal usage levels.)

I had my 66tick server FULL right after the update because it was one
of the few that were updated. CPU utilization peaked at 67% at the
start of a round and hovered around 40% during the round.

I am on Fedora Core3. I am willing to bet it is one of your plugins. I

am running mani, and that is it.

Server empty and CPU pretty much taking all available CPU on box. Box

running DOD S as well, so cant judge quite how much but at one point
took at least 60 % with no players, no bots , nothing.

Stopped, restarted to double checked and did it again, left to settle

down and still the same after a couple of minutes..

Just to confirm NO players on box, server passworded , server process

was not reniced at all, yet CPU skyrockets

16 Player 66 tick , no pingboost etc .
