Two suggestions: 1) do not run it as root. 2) try: ./srcds_run -binary ./srcds_i686 -game hl2mp +ip xxxxxxxxxxxx -port 27015 +map dm_lockdown +maxplayers 16
use -binary ./srcds_amd instead of ./srcds_i686 if you're on an AMD machine, of course. This switch forces srcds_run to use the specified binary file. GL.
