From what I have read and seen myself, changing this will improve the
performance of server. You will need to recompile your kernel if you
want to change it. You should consult the documentation on your distro
on what is the best way to do that. However, for this list it may too
off topic. If you need help I would recomend possibly freenode or one of
the linux based forums. For just kernel stuff I found this site helpfull
the first time out. www.kernelnewbies.org
