Ehm, no, but what does update have to do with restarting a server? In my
opinion nothing.

I assume you have -update in the command line syntax?

Hi all,
The current situation is occuring for a rather long time now on our
CS:Source servers:
-------------------
threadtools.cpp (237) : Assertion Failed: Thread synchronization object
is
unuseable
L 12/01/2006 - 15:37:03: Log file closed
L 12/01/2006 - 15:37:03: server_message: "restart"
-------------------
After these lines, nothing happens. The server halts, and doesn't
restart.
The problem was already reported a few months ago in this mailinglist,
but
no sollutions were reported back then. Does anyone know what is causing
this, and how it can be resolved? The quick-n-dirty fix we use now is
killing the server by pid, but that should not be nessecary. We run our
CS:S
servers on FreeBSD, but this problem was also reported on several other
linux-based systems like Fedora and Debian.
Can anyone help out? Thnx in advance...
