This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] redundancy, for what? whole Seattle went black, if whole Seattle goes black i think all the backbone switches goes offline to. redundancy on another continent/state costs to much i guess and the massive load between the servers to keep them updated all the time. redundancy, i bett you that they got redundancy in the form of battery and diesel backups, but those are just for keeping the servers online and not loosing any data in the crucial moment of power failure, sure diesel will hold them up some days, but why does it mater if the whole backbone is dead or similar?
