Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] reliabletimer error
Hi,
I had that error message on Linux also. I didn't notice any issues with
that and it went away after few days. The error message basically says
that:
- End wasn't bigger than start.
In C/C++ assert is a macro that is used in error situations. Basically
if there is a clause inside the assert function is that value is =
false, then it shows a error like that.
Don't really know if that causes some problems.

Hi,,
Im getting the following error on my clean CS 1.6 install:
reliabletimer.h (73) : Assertion Failed: m_nPerformanceCounterEnd >=
m_nPerformanceCounterStart
i've searched google for this error, but apperantly it only occures at
windows machines.
My config:
Tyan mobo
AMD X2 4200+
2GB 400MHz mem
250GB 7200RPM disk
Distro: Debian
Any idea's on what triggers this error?
cheers,
Saint K.
