If you have rented or are supposed to be running a 100 tickrate server ensure that your cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate are at 100 or 101. Then you may use the netgraph 3 hud to determine the actual tickrate of the server. On the right of the netgraph 3 will be In/Out. The numbers to the left are kB (or KB, I forget)..ignore those...you want the numbers on the far right with a /s on the end. For IN you should be seeing 100/s or higher. For OUT you will be seeing the same # as the on-screen fps your video card is able to churn out. If your in-game fps drops to 50, your OUT will show 50/s or lower. If you are at 100fps or higher, it will show 100/S out. If they seem locked at anything below that, you do not have 100 tickrate or you are not properly configured.

I know in the HL1 you could use NetGraph 3 and you could use the in-out to see tic rate. I have been told by several providers that this is not accurate in Source and would like to know of a way to verify the tic rate in Source. > > > > > _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
